Alan and Lucy Normile have been training racehorses from the tranquil surroundings of Duncrievie, Glenfarg for about seven years and have gradually built up a smart, efficient and friendly racing yard.
They have a five furlong all-weather gallop with a good hill to ensure a proper work out for the horses. This facility makes a great difference to the horses, especially in winter when their preparation should not be undertaken on muddy or frosty ground and they need a sound and reliable surface on which to work.
They have stabling for 50 horses, with potential for more if required. They have the use of 60 acres of grazing; there is an outdoor school, a covered horse-walker and a variety of schooling logs, tyres, hurdles and fences. |
